John Hoe

Remember the graffiti pic we posted at end of Marvel Road, the one that was bmore.com. Well, considering there was a prostitute murdered in that area, we thought you would find it interesting that tonight the Wicomico County Sheriffs Department did a patrol down there and found a car parked there with a prostitute and a john in it.

Ladies & Gentlemen, this is what you would call, Proactive Police Work! Great job guys!

Of course theres illegal activity back there-that entire area around the Industrial Park is full of dead end streets and wooded areas and no houses around in most of the places. They oughtta print the names of the "johns" in the paper.

joe, the blog is great, but can you do a movie of the problems here in sby , i think a live documented story will hit the nerve really! maybe since pac 14 is gobbling up taxpayers dollars they can edit and air it for free.

Tot,

There are a couple of ways to make prostitution - um - a less desireable pass time. Let's see.....as you suggest, put the names of those suspected of picking up women (and men) for the purposes of prostitution in the papers and the blogs. Also, the vehicles used by the "Johns" are instruments of the crime and are subject to forfeiture if convicted. Generally the forfeiture of the vehicles could be made a condition of any plea agreement provided nothing is owed on the vehicle. Taking of the family vehicle has consequences that reach much further than the arrest itself.

Arrest the johns

So since there was a prostitute in a car with a john, I'm assuming two arrests were made? Where are the details for this? I'm guessing probably because no arrests were made and you don't want WCSO to look like SPD

That’s great! Joe, remember a few right before they found that body one of my employees was chased down by a B/M in the same area? We have been very precautious since they found the body, but we still it’s scary! Also if the city would go out there and fixed all five street lights that are out, they would have fewer problems! The officer I talked to stated that he would call the city and let them know the street light were out, but nothing was done about it.
