Advanced Tickets are Now Available for Purchase
Salisbury, MD - Do you love Maryland wine, the great outdoors and live entertainment? Wicomico County Recreation, Parks and Tourism is excited to announce the entertainment schedule for the sixth annual Autumn Wine Festival, which will be held at Pemberton Historical Park in Salisbury, MD on October 18-19, 2008.

“We are thrilled to have such an enjoyable line up of musicians and entertainment to compliment this year’s festival,” says Sandy Fulton, Tourism Manager for Wicomico County.
In addition to live entertainment, guests of the Autumn Wine Festival can taste from 18 Maryland Wineries, enjoy delicious food and peruse through the unique wares of a variety of vendors. The Autumn Wine Festival is open from 11:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday and 12:30pm to 6:00pm on Sunday.
Tickets for the Autumn Wine Festival are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. A Designated Driver and Youth ticket is available for $5. Ticket price includes a full day of admission to the festival, live entertainment, free tour of Pemberton Plantation, free parking and a souvenir 6oz. wine glass (for those 21+). Advanced tickets are available at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office (open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm). I'm not giving one damn nickel to any government employee collecting money at the gate.
The last time I paid money - at the landfill, the scoundrels were involved in a scam to embezzle it for themselves.
I noticed similiar activity at the Pork in the Park festival whereby government workers were collecting cash at the gate. NO OVERSIGHT WAS OBSERVED AT THIS POST EITHER.
My advise, hang on to your hip pocket folks. These type pick pockets are getting away with it.

I'll stay at home. Better off for others because I'm sure there will be a lot of police presence.
I have been to Pork in the Park for 5 years and the Wine Festival for the past 3 years. Both events are very enjoyable and I plan on going again this year to the Wine Festival. If you two don't want to attend then don't. It will be more fun without your negative attitudes. And anon 3:50, if by these people you mean me as someone who attends, I say piss off!
