Ike is also the one who warned us of the dangers with the military industrial complex.

And he also put through the secret (at first) high altitude spy plane ("U-2") program, spent billions on nuclear weapons (and came close to sending US forces to fall with the French to the Vietminh and General Giap at Dien Bien Phu, but for the timely advice against intervention offered by Gen. Matthew Ridgway). Let's not rewrite history, wymzie, just because most Americans were not around then.

Maybe someone should remind the President, or those that want his job, of this.

Or maybe, we should remind ourselves of this.

As Robin Williams said, "When I hear people talking about the new Iraqi Consitituion, I say 'lets give them ours. We obviously do not have any need for it.'"

Not trying to rewrite it Anon:10:47, just repeating wise words even if they were quoted from a politician.

My hypocrisy only runs soooo deep.
