The Pocomoke Tattler has been named as the number one rated political blog site in the State of Maryland by Blognet News today.

This rating is up from number 5 last week and is a result of increasing readership of the commentary posted on the website.

The Pocomoke Tattler provides a forum for the citizens to comment and report on crimes and our long-standing tradition of political corruption at City Hall.

Pocomoke City holds the dubious distinction of being run by one man, City Manager Russ Blake, who reports to no one and has had absolute power for 32-years.

Pocomoke City has experienced two murders in the past month, shootings, car-jackings and is host to an open air drug market on Fourth Street where 'politically protected' drug dealers play their wares around the clock without fear of the local police.

Ground zero for Pocomoke's open air drug marketplace is a property owned by X-Councilman Honiss Cane who is illegally and immorally retaining his City Council seat after moving outside of his election district last year.

The Pocomoke Tattler has reported on the Pocomoke City Police Departments refusal to enforce local ordinances against X-Councilman Cane such as his junking up the city with un-tagged derelict vehicles. The PCPD enforces these laws against citizens who are not in with Russ Blake and his Boss Hogg form of government.

The big news story this week was posted yesterday where City Councilman Rob Clarke asked for citizens to write him demanding that competent law enforcement officials such as the Worcester County Sheriff, Maryland State Police and FBI be brought into the City to end the reign of terror.

Bobby Cowger Jr., Worcester County Commissioner, District One of Pocomoke City, has publicly asked on the Pocomoke Tattler for citizens to file written complaints against the City for its endorsement of the open air drug market so he has the power to bring in outside law enforcement officials.

It has long been rumored that X-Councilman Honiss Cane and his family control the Pocomoke drug market with the tacit endorsement and approval of City Manager Russ Blake who holds the dubious distinction of being the longest sitting City Manager in the USA at 32-years and counting.

We hold Boss Hogg Russ Blake personally responsible for the recent crime wave based upon his refusal to enforce any laws against his cronies, political payback in the form of millions of dollars in public money being siphoned to X-Councilmen and Boss Hogg cronies for pet projects with significant salaries & 'consulting fees' being paid to insiders.
