On March 3, 2008 a Deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Henry Lloyd Appleby III in Salisbury, MD. During the stop the Deputy started to investigate what he believed to be possible criminal activity. During the investigation, Appleby became belligerent and began yelling obscenities. When they attempted to arrest the man for being disorderly, Appleby started resisting arrest. The Deputies were eventually able to subdue Appleby and transported him to the WCDC Booking Unit. He was left there pending an appearance before the Commissioner.
On 3-5-08 a Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Chesnut Way in Salisbury for a traffic violation. The driver, Floyd Lee Sykes was placed under arrest as soon as the Officer noticed the odor of marijuana and found paraphernalia to boot.
