Salisbury Police Keepin It Real


On February 29, 2008, Officers of the Salisbury Police Community Action Team executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on the one hundred block of Delaware Avenue in Salisbury. The warrant was executed without incident. Seized as a result of the search and seizure warrant were a number of handguns, long guns, knives, swords, a military style ballistic vest, communication equipment, prescription medication, quantities of suspected marijuana and cocaine, and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Arrested as a result of this investigation and seizure were:

ARRESTED #1: Chappelle Damar Davis, 21 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Fourth degree burglary
Malicious destruction of property
Trespassing
Possession of CDS with intent to distribute (2 counts)
Possession of cocaine (2 counts)
Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia (2 counts)
Possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime (5 counts)
CDS distribution with a firearm (5 counts)
Firearm possession with a felony conviction (5 counts)
Illegal possession of a regulated firearm (5 counts)
Possession of a stolen regulated firearm
Possession of body armor
Handgun use in a felony
Access by minors to a firearm
Possession of an assault pistol
Use of an assault pistol in a felony

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

ARRESTED #2: Toni Renee Stanley, 42 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
CDS possession with the intent to distribute
Possession of cocaine
Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia (2 counts)
Possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime (5 counts)
CDS distribution with a firearm (5 counts)
Illegal Possession of a regulated firearm (5 counts)
Possession of a stolen regulated firearm
Possession of body armor
Handgun use in a felony
Access to firearms by minors
Possession of an assault pistol
Use of an assault pistol in a felony

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800006777




On February 27, 2008 at approximately 12:03 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Thrift Travel Inn in reference to a suspicious subject. Upon arrival, the officers responded to a room and immediately detected the scent of suspected burnt marijuana. The officers received consent to check the room and an associated vehicle and recovered a quantity of suspected marijuana and cocaine. In addition, the officers located a small quantity of counterfeit U.S. Currency.

ARRESTED: Alphonso Eugene Streeter, 54 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Possession of marijuana
Possession of cocaine
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia (2 counts)
Possession of counterfeit U.S. Currency

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800006875

On February 29, 2008 at approximately 4:14 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Boundless Playground on Broad St. in reference to a subject possibly involved in drug activity. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the below listed suspect and observed that the suspect had an item concealed in his mouth. The suspect removed the item which was observed to be a clear bag of suspected marijuana.

ARRESTED: Daniel Alexander Greene, Jr., 23 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800007051

On March 1, 2008 at approximately 9:40 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to a residence on the fifteen hundred (1500) block of Sharen Drive for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, the officers met with a female victim who advised that while walking to her vehicle in the parking lot she was approached by a lone suspect. The suspect produced a handgun and took her pocketbook containing her identification, an amount of U.S. Currency and several credit cards. The suspect fled from the area on foot. The victim was not injured. The victim described the suspect as: African American male, approximately 6’00” tall, thin build, wearing a green or black jacket with a hood and jeans

Great job and thank you to all the officers that were involved in getting those weapons off of our streets.

We are Baltimore City. Look at the drugs, the corruption, the crime, the gangs, the decline in our schools . . . all of it!
