poor grand dad. no respect!
Before I put my glasses on I thought it was howdy doody on steroids saying "we are THIS close."
eh, wassamatta fuh you?
hey that's my dad!!
We love the Grand Dad!!!
Go get 'em BOB.
With a name like "Grand Dad" I expected to see someone old(er) Tuesday night. However, it was refreshing to see someone young(er) taking a stand for what is right. Grand Dad (and many others)made some valid points at the meeting, and I hope the council was paying close attention.
It's also refreshing to see some light-hearted fun on this blog, and everyone taking it in the manner in which it was intended. Kudos, guys!
This is racist and immature.
Joe,
I really and truly enjoy your blog, but every time I see you mentioning something about Italian-Americans it’s always in the stereotypical movie log context, “da boys”, “fogettabout-it”,”yo Frankie,”yo Vinny”. I try to understand that some of the local backwoods, inbred, redneck, and trailer trash only know what has been viewed on television and the movies and only have those entertaining experiences to guide them when dealing with other cultures. But Joe, really, I KNOW for a fact you know better.
My comment about howdy doody and Grand Dad was just a joke. I've met Pop Pop and his other half at a city council meeting and we are on the same page. Good people, they are on our side. I have read his posts after I met him and still didn't know it was him until I saw this picture. I also expected and older person.
Really I wasn't trying to low blow the Grand Dad, well now that I have thought about it more comparing anyone with the doodyman is an insult I guess, even jokingly. Peace.
Oh geesh with the racist crap, go sue Mario Puzo or Joe Peschi. ahh just Faget-about-it!
This has got me in Knot.... love ya granddad!
