Don't Forget This Fundraiser On Sunday

I don't understand how this sport is getting so little respect and attention here in Wicomico County, and we're steady buying land for parks and dog parks and other recreational activities. I see kids all the time on the streets and sidewalks with their skateboards. Why aren't they important to us? I've heard it said Kids are Our Future.
A good friend of mine is on that committee to create a new skate park. He's got a huge half pipe he built in his back yard for his son, and he still try's to keep up.
He approached me about putting a plug on my music blog, I told him Joe has helped build that bandwagon a long time ago and gets way more visitors and if he forwarded me the info I would pass it on to Joe.
As usual Joe is ahead of the curve, I forwared the link so he could check it out and he thanks you very much.
If I understand him correctly if they can raise $30,000 in donations the state and county would kick in $300,000 to build a nice one that will have supervision.

This is probably the most positive thing Salisbury has done for the youth's in awile. Way to go. Spread the word! See you on Sunday!!
