joe....you r rude, crude and im so glad i dont associate with people like u!! The truth of the matter is that Nelms, VanMeter, Ruark and hopefully YOU will get what is coming down the road. Oh by the way, no one is responding because the fat lady hasnt sang yet. YOU WILL SEE!!!
You know Joe, the reason no one responded because everyone who knows Claude knows that no matter what these documents say people who know Claude dont really care. If you didnt see that last nite with all the comments for Claude and how much of a gentleman, honest, intelligent and honorable man he is then you are the one with the blinders on with Nelms and the good ole boy system.
I've been around Law for a LONG time and let me assure you, these documents SLAM FACTS and like I said, Claude may be a very nice guy and all that but these documents clearly show a whole different person.
It's easy to sit here after the fact and still try to slam others but a VERY wise Federal Judge passed judgment against Claude and quite frankly, get over it, move on and try to get your life back in order and forget it ever happened.
Oh, let me guess, NOT good enough because MONEY will make you feel better. That's perhaps the OTHER Claude?
You wanted to see the documents, I delivered them and you HAVE to shut up because it clearly shows mental instability and IMO, after reading these documents, he shouldn't be a cop.
I know that's NOT a popular statement but IF Sheriff Lewis considered hiring this guy after all this, well, that would be pretty screwed up. It is what it is and it looks, (to me anyway) as if Hunter Nelms made the right decision.

So you know, I too have heard some wonderful things about Claude and some pretty nasty things about him. Some of which I have forwarded to their e-mail address. It should also be noted that I have NOT heard from either one of them, yet they did contact The Daily Times. Again, it is what it is.

You are a common SOB!!!! For one thing Claude & Lori have gone on with their life so why dont you. You are the one who put this shit on your blog site to stir shit up!! As far as money is concern, Claude doesnt need money to prove anything. I know him personally and its all about principle. As far as his mental stability, maybe someone needs to check into your mental capacity. Claude is a great guy and cop something you will NEVER BE or can ever take away from him. Why should Lori or Claude contact you? You dont deserve any response from them. I hope they get you in the end!! Lets see if you print this one!!!

Joe, the only thing those documents prove is that a judge staeed Claude was not covered under the Whistle Blower case because of a case law from a few years ago. Claude had never denied being depressed over this, he did what any sane person did, he sought treatment. A dose of prozac would do you a** good. Why don't you try to uncover the documents of the meeting held between Nelms and the County Attorney and Personnel Officer and you'll read where Claude was asked what he wanted out of this and he stated " All I want is my job back and an apology from Hunter Nelms. I never thought you would stoop so low but I have to now agree with 90% of the people out there, you are the lowest life person out there.
If "I" had a document like that, that would be illegal, now wouldn't it?
That kind of information is personnel documents and can't be made public.
Anyhow, like I said, move on and get over it.
By the way, IF he was going to appeal it, it would have been filed by now and there's NO record of such. I'm not saying he's out of time. I'm simply saying it's BS. Now don't go getting all pissed off and file Monday just because I challenged you. The point here is, get over it and move on. You're NOT getting your job back with the Sheriff's Department. NOT with a mental RECORD like that. Again, it is what it is and call it depression, call it whatever you like, you can't be a Cop with it, whatever that illness is.
You also know I have been VERY fair not exposing the whole truth when it comes to the mental part of things, so let it go.
Claude could be a great guy, I do not know him personally. However, Wicomico County should NOT hire him back and the big question is, IF things were so great in Berlin, IF the Sheriff there was such a great guy, why would Claude disrespect him after he put his neck on the line by hiring someone with such conditions just to come back to the WCSO?

Why don't you talk to the other two doctors that Hunter sent Claude to. He was cleared by both of them but Hunter continued to send him to other doctors until he found one that would say he may be depressed down the road. Hunter also stated that regardless of what the doctor said he would not hire Claude back. And by the way didn't Davis go in for treatment this week? I'm sure there is a doctor that will state the chances of him drinking again and driving are more than one third. Oh I forgot its only your friends that are allowed to do that. Again, you will not get the real story, easier to sit on your as* and write what Hunter's boys feed you.

Claude is an upstanding man and I wish him the best. I have worked with Claude and thank him for all that he has done for Wicomico and his men.
