It's official its an all Lower Shore Worcester County 1A Boys Regional Final again in basketball. Snow Hill, the number one seed, beat Kent Count 77-48 last night to advance to the regional final. Number three seed Pocomoke beat number 2 Cambridge 63-62 to advance. This will be an intense game with not only a trip to the Comcast Center at College Park on the line, but also bragging rights for the year. Pocomoke looks to spoil a perfect season for the Eagles who are 24-0. Pocomoke comes in with an impressive 19-4 record.
The game will be held at 2:30 at UMES tomorrow.
In the 2A matchup Wicomico will take on Elkton who both come in with a 19-3 record. Wicomico survived hardfought game against North Caroline and Queen Anne's to earn the opportunity to go to College Park for the Final Four. Wicomico found their inside game against Queen Anne's and will be needed because the Indians' scouting report shows Elkton having a 6-8 monster in the paint.
The game wil be held at 6pm at Wicomico High School tomorrow. This is a 1 and 2 seed matchup.
