Ladies & Gentlemen, from this point forward I encourage you, (ALL of you) to use your cell phone cameras and digital cameras and take these pictures. Send them to me, send them to the Daily Times, I don't care what News Source you choose. Just know Salisbury News WILL publish them in real time, not in a few days, weeks and perhaps never at all.
This goes for City of Salisbury employees too. Let's start watching things get done around here. I took a photo yesterday of several people working across the street from the GOB. I'm not saying they were slacking. I'd say it was more of, why the hell did they have so many people on one job. Reminds me of all the Fire Stations that show up for a small fire.
Anyhow, accountability is the most important thing right now. These photos have in fact been sent to the County Executive and each and every one of them that I receive will go to him as well. The slacking and stealing will come to an end NOW! Thank You for forwarding these photos.

county employee gets a hair cut a juniors in parsonsburg. Junior offers inexpensive hair cuts which those of us on goverment salaries can only afford.
are you sure the employee isnt there on business. junior is the mayor of Parsonsburg. Most likely will be a mayor of salisbury when salisbury annexes on through.
Nothing is going to happen. This is typical and expected of government workers.

F@**k YOU, By the way, the last word should have been spelled ADVICE, not ADVISE. There are plenty of dedicated county workers. You shouldn't stereotype all county workers as "deadbeats" BTW, I will give you a minute to pull the dictionary out to look up stereotype (its not a radio). As it appears, and as I know, there are some county workers, just like any other place of employment who take advantage of situations and slack. I hope that people do report this. Just make sure the vehicle number and time the picture is taken can be documented. We do get a break and lunch period just like most folks do. It is sad for the county worker who busts his ass and tries to support a family, and do good work (and there are lots of them) to be subjected to scrutiny all the time. I will also add, this is the kind of behavior you can expect when you hire help for 8-9 dollars an hour. Im not saying it is the case in this picture but in general, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately this county feels it only necessary to take care of the sheriffs dept and the teachers. I know and am friends with alot of volunteers and would never think to call them deadbeats even though there may be a few that could be considered that. What would you call a county worker who also happens to be a volunteer FF?

I have worked for Wicomico County for a long time. We (for the most part) have a "team" of employees that like to do the best job that we can do. I have been very saddened by the recent events at the landfill. I feel confident that something like that will never happen again. I knew the gentlemen involved in the theft and absolutely could not believe it, no one could. They were nice guys. I guess they just got caught up in something, but I can't make excuses for them because they were wrong. I just dont want to see this turn into a witch hunt, it has always been a challenge as a county worker to bite your toungue when we hear comments in the public about the county. The county has always had and always will have its share of critics and unfortunately the workers are the ones usually to catch the brunt of their frustrations.
If you take pictures and cant document the time and vehicle number, you might as well keep them because you need to be able to prove who it was and what time it was for that person to get in trouble. Otherwise you are only speculating and stirring the pot.

wow spell his name right if your going to slander him. all of u need to get a life. seriously if the workers were on a their lunch break what business is it of yours if they get a hair cut or eat? you are a busy body with no life, most likely no family, and more importantly nothing better to do then talk about people. looking at your website is like being in the middle of high school nonsence drama again. congrats, you can take a picture and talk about people. does that really make you feel important.
if you dnt like county workers so much dnt u dare even call upon a firefighter, police officer, or for god-sake even the person responsible for teching your child. i hope some one takes u for all your worth.
