Any why would DiPino have to tell him over the phone about the charge. Wouldn't that possibly jeopardize or compromise the investigation.

Last thing I heard is that police agencies don't call their criminals to tell them they are being charged.

I am sure that DiPino wanted to have all the facts before going public.

Let me guess...The all mighty Sun will support Ruark, get all the politicians on his side and he will walk.

This cavalier attitude is exactly why Davis needs to quit, and soon. He shouldn't be floored about any charges filed against him. Lord knows he'd be quick to lay the smack down on Johnny Citizen if they'd done the same.

I thot he told the police about the gun.

Let me just start by staying a juvenile "DUH". What should be entering his mind is the bill he promised to support regarding DWI traffic deaths on Wednesday. Guess that never entered him mind as he was driving drunk. Any so what he's speechless, he's no longer a trusted citizen. Welcome to our world Johnny Q. Ruark. Take the heat it's your turn to get the "Smack Down"
