Anonymous said...

BJs in Millsboro DE = Winning!

GET OVER IT. Why do boomers always have to complain about every minor inconvenience? And you call millenials whiny.

Anonymous said...

go there all the time the line goes fast

My Mom wants me to go out shopping with her, I tell her "Hell No"
I'll have it shipped to my house tax free rather than go into a store today.
I hated shopping before this mess started!

Who cares the size of the line as long as you are distanced apart? Have you been to the Post Office Recently lol? I remember a time when this site promoted Sam's as one of the best places to go for Lunch, the Nathans Hot Dog Special was the best value in town lol, now we here from people with this nonsense! Get a Hobby!!

Use the scan and go app. No line.
Or order online for pickup. They load it all in the car for you. No hassle. No line.

That's why I use their app. You zap your own bar codes, then walk right by the line on your way out!

USE THE SCAN AND GO APP.

NO LINES.

Anonymous said...

That’s not Salisbury Sams Club. Not set up like that. No soda machines. Menu not on that wall. Agreed.. Get the App!

Totally safe but stay off the beach and parks. OBEY

The li e goes just as fast as it always did.

Standing in line is nothing new and hardly Socialist. It's the first thing you learn to do as a kid in school. It about being patient and Civilized. The lunch line the bathroom line the DMV before they had seating. Ever been to Disney you pay a hell of a lot more to stand in line there. At least now you have a phone to entertain yourself with and if your shopping mid-day on a week day your time can't possibly be that valuable. Get some compression socks and try loosing a few pounds.

Calm down. They get you out really fast. It's the geezers at the exit checking receipts that hold you up. Why get checked out and then have someone check your cart again as you leave. Stupid.

Money over health hope you all are happy. Sorry I thought this was a small business my bad it’s safe to support China.

It is so funny to me. It's a picture. This is a discussion board right? You people assume and go to some extremes so quickly. A discussion board is where we can discuss our ideas thought and maybe even get some advice from others. Why are so many so rude. The idea of the scan and go is good. Maybe people are not aware of it. I'm sure there are times it isn't busy. But I don't see where posting this picture has to go to the way of now this board hates Sam's Club. Not everything is so extreme.

Line moves quick. Quit complaining Karen

Anonymous said...

Exactly. How stupid can people be!!! DOWNLOAD the Sams Club App and self checkout. No waiting in checkout lines then.

Anonymous said...

The lines are long there too, but again, use the app to pay!

Anonymous said...

Amen!

Anonymous said...

Stop buying chinese crap from Sam's Club/Walmart

local said...

its not Karen

its that Prescription Dependant nut job S. Olsen

that was fired from ECI

Anonymous said...

Your not worried about covid and people stand in line breathing in each other’s air for products shipped in from slave labor ? Seriously? You must be a liberal

Anonymous said...

Must have just come out since March. Scary world out there. Best to just stay home and let the rest of us alone

Anonymous said...

If you use the app, do you still have to wait in the line for the door monitor to check your cart on the way out?

Anonymous said...

Why do I want to join a club that doesn't trust me?

Scan and go is great? It gives Sam Club access to your phone. So what if you have nothing to hide, they still have no need for information stored in your phone such as pictures, contacts, downloads, ect. Those that trade privacy for convenience deserve neither.

I wouldn't go to that store is my order was free and no lines.

Anonymous said...

As others have said, if you don't agree Joe, you don't print the comment!!!

Unless they have rearranged since Tues, this is not Salisbury Sam's Club.

Anonymous said...

F**k that

When you factor in yearly dues you really do not save all that much buying in bulk at places like Sam's. Unless your the Brady Bunch who needs to buy ketchup by the gallon anyway! I save more with Amazon Prime plus get videos, music, free shipping.....and no lines! Get the perishables from local grocery stores like Food Lion or Acme...win win! Tried a Sam's membership for one year and wasn't impressed. Sam's basically has same stuff as Walmart.

I can't help your trust issues. Talk to your Mommy about that.

Anonymous said...

Well don't shop there. Look at that one woman. Standing in that line for a bag of what looks like potato chips. lol

Anonymous said...

8:08 the app doesn’t gain access to that it’s location data only, using wifi, Bluetooth, and cellular. Use some intellect and read the disclosure and look at the privacy settings on your phone. It shows you what it has access to. But continue standing in a hour long line. I’m sure your the type who uses the same password on everything and most likely contains a word and a set of numbers with meaning. You might want to fix that before you cry privacy.

My first trip to Sam's after this started went like this: I saw the line and thought Wow!, walked most of the way to the back of the store and got in line. Five minutes later, got in my car. As others mentioned the people are "socially" spaced and also this is one line for all registers the speed was amazing and much faster than the old way.

Someone will find my cart with my items I was going to buy (but not me) sitting in the line. Done it before. I don't have time to spend just waiting in line. If I have perishables, I will return them to the refrigerated shelves, but otherwise I just leave the items in the cart at the checkout line. Nothing I have to have that bad. If they can't check me out, or allow me to check myself out, in a reasonable amount of time, I'm outta there. I'll come back when they are less busy. Restocking the items is Sam's cost of the lost sale. Trust me, Sam's knows exactly why that cart was abandoned, and keeps track of what it costs them in both lost sales and restocking. When the cost is too high for the Sam's store, they will correct the situation that causes it.

Line included social distancing. Instead of just a misleading picture, why not say how long it took you to check out? Maybe the post was intended to be misleading.

Anonymous said...

Nobody axed you to 6:37, and it's not my trust issues, it sam' trust issues.

Cracker said...

I don't stand in line at sam's and I don't discuss my passwords, but nice try 2:41

Some folks do nothing but complain!! Line moves fast, it looks worse than it is, NEVER been in line an hour, think someone is peeing on our leg and trying to convince us it’s raining!!

Anonymous said...

I've been in the same line and I was out of there in no time flat! The "length" of the line is deceptive with the required safe distancing. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to a register, where a store associate is waiting to help you check out quickly, even if you are using self checkout. Sam's, in Salisbury, can't make checkout any more expeditious under the circumstances. They should be commended for their creativity to solve a problem for all of us, with the LEAST inconvenience. But some people will complain, no matter what Sam's (or any other store) does to deal with the current health crisis. Many people either can only see the glass half empty, or just think they are more special than everybody else they have to share this planet with. Just take a breath, be patient, and deal with it like everybody else. Or else, just do without Sam's for your needs.
