People of faith gathered for a unity march in Cary on Saturday, braving the summer heat to protest the brutal police killing of George Floyd and demand an end to racism.
Members of the Legacy Church Center, led by co-pastors Faith Wokoma and her husband Soboma, helped organize the unity prayer walk, where people gathered, observed eight minutes and 46 seconds of silence to mark how long a white cop had his knee on Floyd's neck in killing him, and prayed for the country.
As a part of the event there was a 'Washing of the Feet' ceremony where at least three white law enforcement officers and three other white attendees washed the feet of pastors Faith and Soboma Wokoma.

WOW. As if they couldn't be humiliated enough. Why don't they have them wash each other's feet?? Because it doesn't fit their narrative. They want them to have white police humiliate themselves. Must have a Black mayor or police chief.

If you are feeling guilty for being white that is your problem not mine. I was born white I didn't have a choice in the matter. I started working at 15 years old, joined the military at 18 years old and used the GI bill to go to school after my 4 years were up. I have been working ever since to make ends meet. Whatever the job. The whole notion of white privilege is BS. The black people I went to high school with could have taken the same route. Some did and are have done very well in their lives. The systemic racism starts in the black community where they are told that everyone is out to get them and nothing is their fault. Do they work with the police when there is a crime? Oh no can't be snitching to the police. They create their own problems. Work with the police to get the bad element out of your communities. Quit holding back your best and your brightest. Your problem isn't white people your problem starts in your own communities.

9:39 White privilege doesn't mean you won't have struggles, it means your struggles won't be because of your skin color. You won't have to worry about whether the judge is white, the bank manager is white, the teacher is white, the cop is white, the store manager is white. You will be able to buy toys and watch TV shows that you can identify with. That's white privilege. Until all whites can acknowledge that privilege we will continue on the same route. It doesn't mean you should be ashamed of your skin color. I have no issues with white people who are proud of their heritage because I am pro black and proud of mine. We can agree to disagree on anything and remain friends except racism.
Northwest Woodsman: Totally a sign of weakness! Demonstrating weakness only encourages further outrageous demands and behavior. I really do not understand the mentality of whites that engage in behavior like this. Emotionally weak and this somehow this form of virtue signaling makes them feel good about themselves. This article, to me, graphically demonstrates that we as a people and as a country have slipped into an abyss and are doomed. I am preparing for the worse possible scenario.

That is probably the best explanation I have heard regarding this issue. Our children should be taught to strive for greatness. This is America where you can be or do anything you want to.
