A mass of protesters demonstrating in the wake of George Floyd's death set a police department in downtown Minneapolis on fire.
Video and images circulating on Twitter show hundreds of protesters surrounding the Minneapolis Police Department's 3rd Precinct early Friday morning as flames shot out of the building.
"We're looking at the building on fire and it says Minneapolis police department right on the side of the building and we've people, at least, we've seen a few going in and out of parts of the building," CNN host Don Lemon said. "The department is on fire."

If I were the chief or police for Minneapolis, I’d pull law enforcement out of that precinct permanently and leave the building permanently abandoned, as is, as a constant reminder to that neighborhood that “You Win, no more police enforcement in your neighborhood”. “You have got what you wanted”.
CNN reporter asked Sgt. Smedley why he was crying at the sight of his building burning and he said "There was a box of glazed donuts still on the table in the breakroom".
How did this work out in Baltimore? Murder capital of the country now. Police ride with blinders on. Eight and skate. Retired on duty. Drive the milk truck. Clear call know card needed. Clear call everything ocean king. Clear call referred to district court commissioner...do the time get the pension and relax.
How can police protect the public if it can't even protect it own station

That would be a great day for those residents. Police are obviously criminals. Including the black ones and Chinese ones.
Unfortunately any action by LEOs would've caused more harm. Luck no one was truly killed last nite.
