I'm surprised that a Hawaiian sang that song after the way America treated his people many years ago. Hawaii was taken by American terrorism. The founders of the Dole company tried to buy land from the Hawaiians who were growing pineapples and they refused to sell. So he contacted the President of the United States and complained about it. The President sent troops there to take the land from the Hawaiians by force and it was given to the founders of Dole pineapple so they could grow pineapples and make a fortune from it.
