An off-duty firefighter who had a firearm with him stopped a potential attack from taking place at a Walmart in Missouri after a 20-year-old man showed up to the store with a rifle, body armor, and over 100 rounds of ammunition.
"His intent was not to cause peace or comfort to anybody that was in the business," Lt. Mike Lucas with the Springfield Police Department said. "In fact, he’s lucky to be alive still to be honest."
Although it's not yet clear what the man's intent was, Lucas said, "We definitely have some crimes here."

A 20 year old liberal race baiting hater
This was not a shooter he was testing OPEN CARRY LAWS and they FAILED.
Would have shot him on the spot then asked questions.
So, exactly what did the kid do that was illegal in the state of Missouri?
Copycat future murderer, these are the people that shouldn't be allowed to possess firearms, but a judge will slap his hands and turn him loose. He needs to be incarcerated for a long time, at least until he gets this killing need out of his system, otherwise it's just a matter of time.
He could have won a stupid prize for playing a stupid game and if you don’t know what I mean then there is no help for you.
Testing with body armor ??
He broke no laws and was carrying legally. The Walmart worker who pulled a fire alarm in a crowded "Theater, which was walmart, committed a crime. Where is that arrest?
so, did he actually threaten anyone with the weapon? carrying a weapon concealed or otherwise is NOT illegal in missouri. He`ll win this case easily, all charges will be dropped, and he`ll sue.
Killing need? He went into the store streaming on his phone and started pushing a shopping cart around. That is not mentioned in the article. That way they get all the chickens like yourself stirred up and fighting to take more of our rights away. Grow a pair.
"If you see something, say something" the fireman did the write thing, possibly save many lives. The idiot had over 100 rounds on him, and body armor. This was not a test !!!
12:46 really? shopping with 100 plus rounds and body armor? The streaming and cart pushing was a ploy hiding his true agenda. Hell, he might even had been "recording" instead of streaming to document his adventure. I have no problem with concealed carry, "permit or not" my problem is all that ammo and body armor. No one needs that to go shopping.
It would have been BANG!, then "drop the weapon," if I was the captor. Neutralize the threat, fist and foremost.
Right on 1:41
