ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) - Asked about anti-crime bills moving through the Maryland General Assembly, Gov. Larry Hogan again blasted the staggering violent crime in Baltimore City and said "it's outrageous and unacceptable" to not be tough on violent offenders.
"It's very, very frustrating to me, because the violent crime, which has taken over Baltimore City, is something that is not only of critical important to the residents of Baltimore City, who are afraid to live in their own neighborhoods, but it's of concern to people all across the state," said Hogan at this morning's press conference.
"We have a bill to try to push tough sentencing [for] repeat violent offenders, who have multiple times been convicted of committing a felony with a gun, and it's not getting any traction," he continued.

You have chosen the people running the city of Baltimore. Very poor choices with the crime rate so high. Let me see now why is this city so violent ?
Mmmm , police hands are tied with restrictions , Cannot arrest anyone , gangs are allowed to ruin and destroy police vehicles without any retaliation , not allowed to use lethal force even if criminal is armed , for God's sake don't arrest a black man , the shit will fly. I could go on and on and on , mainly they don't punish criminals anymore , a smack on the wrist unless you are white.

Mr Hogan you are the Governor. Last time I checked you have the power to fix this. It cant be done with taxpayer money only leadership.Send in the National Guard , shoot to kill armed thugs let MSP take over their police force and get rid of the current Baltimore leadership! Hogan change right to carry and let the ones that passes the background check when buying a weapon and wants to carry allow them. That is a Constitutional right. 2:53 Unfortunatley for me I make several trips to Baltimore yearly. Not sure about the mugging part cause I’m carrying but for me it’s the homeless beggars, graffiti , and overall stench of the city that turns me off 🤷♀️

"People of color" just lined up from corner to corner. Lexington market is nothing more than an air drug market now.
