Harley Status
BTW, Don’t blame Trump for Harley moving their plant. H-D announced the closing of their Kansas City Sportster plant Months before Trump announced his Tariff program.

And lets face it Harleys are expensive and the younger people have a lot of college loan debt. It's a shame but that's pretty much the reality.
How is this any different than when you could no longer buy KODAK film or Sylvania Flash Cubes at you local pharmacy? If the business administration schools didn't stop teaching commerce and replaced it with Social issues, this would not even ba a topic of discussion.
If you have one, keep it. It'll be worth gold when this generation gets past the age of forty-five or fifty. Of course, you'll be dead, so leave it to your kid.
Why would you buy a bike that’s priced based on a tank badge for a brand that doesn’t build the motorcycle? Not saying they don’t build a good bike but you’re paying for the Indian name only. Would you pay $60k for a $20K Kia Sportage because it has a Porsche badge on the hood? I get that HD is a matter of brand recognition too but, for now at least, Harley is still made by Harley.
758-Because Polaris was just the high quality, and deep pocketed backer, that Indian needed to be properly rebuilt as a brand. The quality of the Indian bikes speaks for themselves. As for being based on a tank badge, Harley's been resting on that fact for 20+ years. I know. I also own a HD FXRS. Many consider that bike to be the pinnacle of Harley's performance bikes, and they stopped making those decades ago. Look at how the Indian FTR750 is dominating in flat track racing, a purpose built, from the factory flat track race bike. Harley sponsors a lot of flat track events, but the trophies are going to those driving the FTR750s.

There aren't many choices in starter bikes anymore, You used to be able to buy a used 350 for $500. Those days are gone.
Indian sales are doing great. Polaris bought em and are putting out quality rides. Buying a FTR1200. First new bike.

But the snowflakes can afford Jake's free scooters!
