Let's Work Together To Resolve The Feral Cat Issue In Wicomico County

Forgotten Cat Rescue is looking to find Wicomico County feral cat populations that are in need of trapping, spaying, neutering and releasing. If you know of an address within the County but that is not a City of Salisbury address, please leave it in the comments section. If there is enough need, there will be free trap/spay/neuter for those feral and non-feral colonies. If you have been a good Samaritan that has taken in strays and needs help, please call me at 410-430-5349 privately and I will pass on your information. Let’s all work together to help control the burdening problem of abandoned cats within Wicomico County.

I live in Wicomico County and it was the Somerset County humane society that helped me trap and spay 5 barn cats.

Maybe if SU would address the subject with their students, our neighborhood wouldn't have the cats we do. Nearly every time they move out, there's a new bunch of cats running around. I can only presume the cute little kitten they adopted is a no-go with Mommy & Daddy when they move back home. Lots of them leave after one semester, presumably due to their partying rather than studying habits.

Rt 50 and Rockawalkin Rd area. Probably a bunch out at Barbara Pilchards as well since she had the problem with the Maine Coon Cats several years ago and now let's horses starve to death.

The area behind the former Laminal Plant on North Park Dr. is an area where a lot of cats are dumped. I am not sure if that is city or county. Thank You for being a help to neighborhood.

Good Samaritan has been doing a great job. People are dumping cats in Parsonsburg all the time. Our son was feeding, housing and taking care of some of them. He even named them. One in particular he had been feeding for about 5 years came up to his house with his foot pad ripped off 3/4th of the way. He took the cat to Good Samaritan and they took him, repaired his pad, neutered him and gave him his shots. He was brought to our house to recuperate. Well he has been recuperating in our house for 4 or 5 years now and loving life. He does not even want to go outside. Guess he remembers the fight to live alone.
