BALTIMORE — Rep. Elijah E. Cummings was admitted to the hospital for a procedure to his knee on Friday, a statement said.
Cummings was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital for a bacterial infection in his knee, a statement from his office said. The statement said doctors drained his knee in a minor procedure and he is expected to make a full recovery.

He'll be seen sporting a knee brace big enough to hide his gps monitor soon!
Maybe he will get blue streaks running up his leg.
The brain infection is too far gone, folks, but if they can save the knee it will at least be able to make decisions better than the brain has done.
I hope there is a medical "accident" that renders him unable to serve/breathe.
