Delmar, Thinking Out Of The Box, I Love It!
DELMAR STUDENTS!! The Town of Delmar is offering to sign off on community service hours for anyone who can help get our sidewalks cleared!! We are first going to concentrate on areas leading to our schools!! Call 410-896-2777, give them your name and the area you will be working in! Call again when you are finished and we will total your hours and send the sheet in!! PS.

Well, looks like the sidewalks will remain covered.
Now that's forward thinking. Instead of complaining about the problem, someone actually came up with a solution.
Hat's off to whomever thought of it.
They should develop a list of disabled or elderly that need help with snow removal or even general stuff like raking leaves, cutting grass or just general help. It would kill 2 birds with one stone.
Sounds like kids in Delmar need more schooling, if they have to do community service, has there lack of education hurt them? Or a lack of good wholesome parenting missing?
Way to go Delmar!
Moving forward that is the plan. This was a spur of the moment idea to try to help get the paths to school cleared without adding additional stress to our elderly and disabled residents. We will be building on this idea.

Has “there” lack of education hurt them? You probably shouldn’t speak about education. And this is referring to Community Service hours which are performed by several clubs or organizations. But, I wouldn’t expect you to know anything about that.
