Wicomico County Home Invasion

(SALISBURY, MD) – On Monday, October 2, 2017 at approximately 4:40 p.m. the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack received an emergency call for service at Parkwood Apartments, 836 S. Schumaker Dr., Salisbury, Wicomico County, MD regarding a home invasion and robbery. 

Troopers from the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack and Criminal Enforcement Division responded. Investigators conducted interviews of the occupants of the residence, and it was reported three African American , males, dressed in dark clothing, hooded sweatshirts, and face mask entered the residence armed with handguns. 

The suspects assaulted and robbed the victims of their possessions. Emergency medical personnel provided on scene treatment for minor injuries. 

At this time, the facts of the investigation indicate this was not a random act, and the residence was known to the suspects.

im not a detective but...so three thugs just decide to hit this house? it was a drug/money robbery.

I know the victims, it was not drugs. They are good kids who work hard and go to college. People are always talking about things they know nothing about and first instinct is to blame the people who got robbed. I bet if it were your family members, you'd be singing a different tune! I'd be much more worried about the 3 guys with guns.
