Demonstrators take to the streets in Detroit, Michigan to rally against NFL player’s protesting during the national anthem.
A group gathered outside Ford Field on Sunday demanding both players and fans stand proudly.
The demonstrators urged players to consider all those who have been killed while fighting for our country before displaying acts of disrespect.
“Free to place it over their heart if they want to and face the flag,” said protest organizer, Brian Pannebecker. “It only takes two minutes to play the national anthem and that’s all we’re asking for out of respect for the veterans, law enforcement officers who have given their lives for this country.”
All Detroit Lions players stood during the national anthem ahead of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

That's good, but for me there are some unforegiveable events. As a former Marine and Gulf 1 vet, I will not forgive or forget what they did on 9-24. I can watch college football.
