As the saying goes, “It takes one to know one.” Such a saying might have particular application to 49ers safety Eric Reid, one of Colin Kaepernick’s original anthem-protesting buddies.
On Sunday, Vice President Pence walked out of the Colts-49ers game, after nearly two dozen 49ers players protested during the playing of the national anthem.
Reid, a member of the 49ers, and, one of the first players to join Colin Kaepernick in his protest, had some harsh words for the VP after the game:

With this idea then the Kneeling thing is a PR stunt to get recognition for these 2nd class players that knew they were history and no longer worth their value to any team. That is the real story finally coming out.
"Systematic oppression"???
I don't think those words mean what he thinks they do.
Pence walking out was Pence exercising his rights to come and go and (if you want to interpret it that way) to make his own political statement.
But, apparently the NFL SJWs think they are the only ones who should be allowed to make political statements.
Wonderful, isn't it? Athletes can make political statements -- on the job!, but politicians shouldn't be allowed to.
The very public act had the affect of "imposing beliefs" upon the public.
No doubt about it.
That was the purpose of the action (walking out of the game).
The government appears to be a very manipulative entity.
Much of its actions are in fact, "controlling".
This is the nature of a totalitarian government.
Ahole, read what is in front of you,or get a real job. We are so tied of hearing what you want to say about anything till you start knowing that you are who you are because of us. (map)
vs the stunt the players are pulling? so let me get this strait blm and the left are the only ones allowed to pull stunts!
We can do it but you can't? same for the violence they perpetuate?
In his pea brain if you don't let him oppress you then he's being oppressed...LOL
So what are you going to do about it, Eric? LOL! Go cry in a corner, or MAN UP and stand up?
Pot calling kettle black
Who's Eric Reid, who? I didnt even know about him being on 49ers team until now. Reality check, protesting is fine, but not on the job, disrespecting the flag. If you are interested more in protesting than doing your million dollar job, then join Kap at the unemployment line, moron.
I won't type what I'd say Reid the Systemic Kneeler but he'd be getting treatment for blistered ears.
Hope he and the FortyWhiners keep pace with Cleveland in the loss stats.
Eric who??? Yawn!!
There isn't a player on a knee who can reasonably articulate what the social injustice is that they're allegedly protesting, let alone present a solution, however small.
On a knee, they're telling the World how impotent they are.
Systematic oppression there Eric? LSU education well spent!
