We’ve been discussing players in the National Football League kneeling before and during the national anthem, but they all have one thing in common: They’re adults. Punishing them by taking away their funding and yelling at them about patriotism doesn’t make us feel bad because they’re all over the age of 18.
However, what do you do when a first grader kneels for the pledge of allegiance? It’s not like you can really do anything to them, at least not on the same scale as you would a professional football player.
One teacher in Florida faced this exact situation in her classroom, and she dealt with it in a way that many are going to view as more than appropriate.

Lordy, what are these chucklehead parents teaching their young?
if i were that teacher i would have shown up and demanded the rules to be followed in my classroom and the same respect would be followed by all the children in my class room. She should have stood up what she believed in instead of taking the easy way out. This one kid will now turn into more. And yes that kid learned that to do. More disrespect being taught at that young of a age, Will there be any respect left in not only this country but this world by the time he graduates high school? What a world and county this will be without the respect of others and their rights!
What does a first grader know about it?
Nothing, that's what. Ask the parents who, I'm sure, put the child up to it!
You know his mother told him to do that, he did not come up with that on his own
