All self defense in Maryland is "illegal", 8:22, but she at least will walk if something happens to her and I'm on that jury.

looks like a cane.
It's only illegal if she gets caught and a dipstick cop wants to make an issue of it.
If you really feel the need to have something on the outside ..it would be more Effective To Have Something concealed on the inside ...you know what I'm saying.....??? ( And much less conspicuous ) !
Brass knuckles are not illegal, unless concealed on your person.
