NOTICE OF WORK SESSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Council of Wicomico County, Maryland, will hold an open work session for the purpose of interviewing nominees to the Wicomico County School Board on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., in the Government Office Building, Room 301, Salisbury, Maryland.

That should be fun!
Why are there nominees going through a commission? It's supposed to be the voters choice, not the voters choice of nominees selected by a commission.
This is because there are some vacancies on the school board to be filed before the Board is elected, which won't happen until Nov. 2018, when the terms of the members will end.
