Bernie sanders says it's great but he only pays 13 percent in taxes and is a 1% so maybe probably isn't the one to ask.

Here's what everyone is missing.....the wealthy, the powerful, the connected would say socialism is GREAT!
Americans, spoiled and rarely having sacrificed anything or suffered hunger thirst, or cold, or watched their family waste away while powerful neighbors get fat. They love the IDEA of socialism, but they have not accounted for human greed and the desire to dominate. Those things KILL human efforts at socialism. Further, they very likely have never actually LIVED in a socialist system, where consumer goods and services are always restricted, sparse, expensive, and sporadic. Look at Argentine and argue differently
Its the kindling wood for revolution. If your kids are dying while your neighbors cook ribs, there won't be but one barbecue. The the other neighbors start shooting at the authorities who quickly show up to keep the (previously) subdued citizenry under control, only it doesn't go as planned.
Internet news spreads and cities ignite. It's gotta happen. It's just calling the "spark" that is difficult. Lots of cold hungry, dying citizens is a pretty good one. How much will they take??

I'm Venezuelan, a legal inmigrant living in Salisbury for the last ten years, this video is real but what is happening in Venezuela isn't product of a socialist government, it has been a communism and dictatorial regimen since Mr.Chavez took the power in 1998. I don't see the United States of America facing the crime levels nor the chaos that leads Venezuela as long as the people stay united stooping the politicians and the media that manipulates the population in order to benefit a small group of people that wants to control the economy and the power, no matter if it's red or blue, at the end of the day whatever is done should be good for all and the most important, for the future generations. God bless America.
