Martin O’Malley to teach course at U. of Maryland: Report

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, who briefly challenged Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primary, will teach a course in political leadership this fall at his home state’s flagship university.

“The three-credit course, PLCY359M: Contemporary Issues in Political Leadership and Participation; Leadership in the Information Age, will meet on Thursdays from 4:15-6:45 p.m. and is available to all undergraduate students,” reported The Diamondback, the University of Maryland’s student newspaper.

Thus far, all 30 slots for the course have been filled but campus administrators are considering expanding the class size to accommodate more students, The Diamondback reported.

he'll be teaching a course on how to be a whiny little brat on twitter. That's his gig, now.

The course might be better named 'How to Destroy a State'

Only Snowflakes will be accepted.

What's he going to teach? How to live off the taxpayers without any effort? How to marry a politically connected wife for fun and profit?

Let me guess.... How to suck the life blood out of the American taxpayer 101!!

How can a loser teach a course on the topic he failed? If I were into politics I would stay clear of such courses taught by someone that couldn't even beat the fat candidate that also lost. The democrats have been out of commission a long time ago. They rigged the votes to get the last eight years that came close to ending us. When will they learn they are over with and will never make it to the finish line again? This dude should get a job to care for his family, the trough is empty for you son. "Axe" President Donald J. Trump

If political leadership means being on the same page as Obama I'll pass.Seriously, why DID the Democratic contenders feel as though they had to chime with Obama during the debates?I expected at least one to separate him or herself just to have a snowballs chance.A rebel might have made those debates interesting. No law states that candidates on either side have to adhere to any given policies.

My thoughts have already been taken.

Challenged? Did he ever have more than 2% on any poll? Proof you don't need to have any knowledge to teach currently at a liberal school.

If you can't do anything, then teach!

Who's he going to use as an example of a leader?

Hopefully Trump will be his example of someone who leads.

'...who briefly challenged Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primary...'
Now that is funny stuff right there - 'challenged' her? All he was good for was opening the door or pulling out her chair for her. What a schmuck.

This is just down right stupid, worst Governor we ever have had. He thought we needed more councelors at ECI and less officers. Would not pass the death sentence in Maryland for the murder and then burning of a child here. Please see to it this doesn't happen this man is a scar on Maryland.

This is comical considering O'Malley doesn't know thing one about political issues; that's like having a drug dealer teaching a class on drug addiction. O'Malley is great at making political issues but not good at fixing them. Baltimore & Maryland are perfect examples of how he walked into great situations and when he left, they resembled Rome after the destruction. He's toxic to any area he's elected, guess University of Maryland will be no exception to this precedent.
