She says "oh, that's nice. Who are they from?" He says "they're from the police department maam". She says "thank you".

Then she says "Who are they from?" He says "they're from the police department maam?" .......and on & on.

No crap, I went through trying to explain where flowers came from to a nursing home resident a few years back, and after answering the same question 4 times in a row, I realized what she was there for.
