Ass kissing contest yesterday between Day and Culver at the news conference. You would have thought it was free money the taxpayers got screwed.

"The fastest growing job market in the north east united states"

WHAT?? For minimum wage retail jobs?

Why does he ALWAYS have to lie?

8:12, We have done a TON of research on the Jake Day jobs statement and there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE of anything, anywhere close to what he's claiming. That being said I can state clearly that he is LYING.

Simply based on my job search for the last year, I can verify that it is a lie.

Salisbury is a great place for retiree's I suppose with all of the doctor's that are here. However when it comes to young and middle-aged folks who are still of working age, not so much. Where are the jobs for those people who have families? They are few and far between.

Also, I believe that they forgot to mention that D'Bury has the second highest murder rate in the state too!

9:10 I am finally retired I suppose as of this week after living in the Salisbury area and working between Salisbury, Snow Hill, and OC for the past 49 years at different professions.

Young and middle-aged folks are your doctors. Also they are many if not most of your nurses, physical therapists, auto mechanics, auto salesmen, construction workers, bankers, small business owners, large business managers, police officers, teachers and so many others. Many if not most of them in livable wage jobs. Including some jobs that many of us do not know exist but maybe wish we did. Many of these people do have families. We see their children playing sports and more in one or more of the many venues we have in this area which also provide work possibilities for many adults.

2:11 PM Hmmm, with "livable" wage jobs, a community doesn't have a 15% foreclosure rate. Nice try though.

The bury is so obviously divided between the haves and have nots.
