Black Lives Matter Activists Respond to Trump Victory

Black Lives Matter activists expressed shock, anger, fear, and defiance on social media after the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th president of the United States, demonstrating that the radical leftists behind the Black Lives Matter movement view the election as a setback but far from the end of their work in dividing the country.

Before the election results were known, activists like Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors were already digging in for the work of fighting for leftists causes.

On the eve of the election myself and Janaya Khan are teaching our Organizing for Change class. I really appreciate being able to study and continue to develop a political analysis that is about deepening theory for the sake of practice. Praxis.

Then in a separate post, Cullors was defiant.

We ain’t going out like this.

Another well-known face in Black Lives Matter is Shaun King, whose message on Twitter was about reaching out to only specific groups. White people were not mentioned:

Dear Muslims, Immigrants, Women, Disabled, and All People of Color,

I love you – boldly and proudly. We will endure. We will not break.

— Shaun King (@ShaunKing) November 9, 2016

On election night, King had expressed disdain for both President-elect Trump and shame for his country.

Funny how DJT's campaign was based on love for everyone in the country, yet these a-holes exclude whites in their "love", or fear, as I call it.

I understand their fear because of what the media has said about Trump and about us. We know that none of it is true and is a tactic to divide and conquer. Keep that in mind as you comment on this blog so that you can show that there is nothing to be afraid of but the status quo.

King should move out of the Country, then. Problem solved.

700 to 1500 BLM members. And 60 MILLION people voted for Trump...soon the media will feel the weight of the White House. #pink slips

Every buddy knows BLM is just another paid liberal hate group like all the others. Truth is white liberal elites fund and control to keep the blacks dependent on them. Thank God many blacks are tired of the lies and smart enough ot know they are being used. This is why so many African Americans voted for Trump.

Does this mean that the George Soros funding of the BLM movement will be cut off?

If they want to move toward socialism, then let them move to Europe and see what it's like firsthand. There's a reason foreigners want to move here.

Who cares how they reacted? The more boo-hooing and wailing and ranting from them about Trump's victory, the better.
