North Division Street
On North Division Street, the street will be transformed into a mini skate park, courtesy of Swirled World Skate Shop, where kids and adults of all ages can try their skills on skate board and bicycles, and get pointers from seasoned riders! It's free of charge, but helmets are required and children under 18 must have a parent or guardian with them to sign a waiver. There will also be a sign up table to register for use of the Salisbury Skate Park, and free bike valet service courtesy of Bike-SBY. The entire area will be family friendly, and local punk rock bands will be performing on the Government Office Building Steps.
Also on North Division Street, the brand-new Downtown Salisbury Visitor Center will be hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening event at 5:30 PM. The Visitor Center is an exciting new space where visitors and citizens can learn more about events in Downtown Salisbury, purchase cool Salisbury branded merchandise and get coupons for Downtown businesses. Plus, be sure to stop in Olde Towne Deli, Downtown Salisbury's brand new sandwich shop, with specials all day and great giveaways, and Cake Art, for create your own cupcake night!

On the Plaza, artists, crafters and non-profits will fill the streets. Keep an eye out for artists offering products with an EC Strong sticker, indicating proceeds will benefit relief efforts in Downtown Ellicott City, which was devastated by a flood earlier in the month. The main stage will feature live music by local trio Beauty for Ashes.
The Art Institute and Gallery, aka new Salisbury Art Space, will host the Clay Guild of the Eastern Shore's 2016 Show & Sale, downstairs in the Gallery Building, and Robbie Johnson and other members of the Clay Guild will be on the Plaza doing pottery wheel demonstrations. SU Art Galleries Downtown Campus, now also located in the Gallery Building, will host a ukulele jam session from 6:30 - 8:00. Instruments and instruction will be provided and no experience required, hosted by Salisbury University's Louise Anderson, so stop in and give it a try!

On St. Peters Street, Salisbury Jaycees will be pouring local beer and wine selections. St. Peters Episcopal Church will host kids-scooter road races, and will transform their beautiful courtyard in the "Finish Line Grill", complete with cooling fans, grilled burgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks, all at family friendly prices.
3rd Friday is always a shoppers' paradise, with the downtown shops and boutiques open late with special events and sales! Seasons Best Antiques will be offering refreshments, huge sales and door prizes. Main Roots Coffee will have American Waste skateboards for sale, so stop on in the check out some cool wheels and cool down with some iced coffee, espresso smoothies and regular fruit smoothies! At Barefoot Baby Boutique, bring a picture of your little on their first wheels and receive 10% off all back to school purchases, and be sure to stop by Angello's Unique Gifts new location next to The Acorn Market for wine tastings and their end of summer sale!

The downtown bars and restaurants are ready for 3rd Friday! Roadie Joes will have live music from Kaleb Brown on the patio from 5:30 - 8:30 followed by Black Dog Alley from 10 until two.
