32" Elephant Ears

I have always enjoyed the elephant ear plant. This year I planted several new ones and this one in particular has one ear 32" long, so far.

8:19, No. This is what is surprising me. I planted 20 elephant ears throughout the property and this particular one has gone nuts. The others are normal in size. I do water all my plants every other day.

I LOVE Elephant Ears and don't see that many around it seems. Years ago, my husband planted them in our front yard and they were a conversation piece when anyone would walk by. He would use some kind of
fertilizer in the dirt (vermiculite?) which made them grow even larger. Thanks for sharing these photos Joe!

Do you have to bring them inside in the winter?

They like moisture and little shade at noon. The Tai giant variety can have leaves 3 feet wide and 5 feet long
