Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Press Release

On Monday, May 9th, 2016 Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputies along Maryland State Police responded to a location on Grays Corner Road, Berlin, Worcester County, Maryland for a trespassing complaint.

Upon arrival Mr. David Lee Donaway 50 of no fixed address, was located within a shed on private property without the owner’s consent. Mr. Donaway became agitated with the property owner and began yelling.

Mr. Donaway was taken into custody without incident and charged with 4th Degree Burglary and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Donaway was held pending trial.

On Friday May 7, 2016 at 1207 hrs., Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were conducting a sobriety checkpoint with the Maryland State Police on Route 50 at Hall Rd. Berlin, Worcester, County, Maryland.

Ms. Rebbecca Schmidt-Boyd 23years of age from Nottingham Md. Entered the checkpoint and stopped. Ms. Schmidt-Boyd appeared to have been drinking alcohol. She did poorly on field sobriety tests. Ms. Schmidt-Boyd was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Ms. Schmidt-Boyd was released pending trial.

appeared to be drinking. Did poorly on tests. That's all? I appear to be drinking after a long ass day. And couldn't walk a straight line if I wanted to. Was she driving all over the road? Blow above the limit? Never know. Things aren't always as they appear. Patrol and get the evidence you need.
