Sitting around the deli having breakfast with my bike riding group the conversation turns to Donald Trump.
As a follower of the Scott Adams blog (he’s the creator of Dilbert), I wasn’t surprised by Trumps victory over the Republican Establishment candidates. Adams has been pointing out for some time that Trump would prevail.
One of the guys, a former Obama supporter and now anti-Clinton, says that he thinks Trump won’t win the election. His reasoning is that a 3rd party candidate will now arise combining the centrists of the Republican and Democratic parties.
Another example of fantasy rationalization which occurs when a person’s subconscious will not let them accept reality.
I pointed out that a 3rd party centrist candidate is the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party. He defeated the Republicans, and now he will defeat the Democrats.

Let's hope that the voters are willing to band together in a strong enough manner to prevent the dumbocrats from continuing our downward spiral.
Obama supporter? The conversation would end at that point for me.
