Md. Motor Vehicle Administration Unveils New Driver’s Licenses and IDs

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — With a new redesign, Marylanders are getting more secure driver’s licenses and identification cards, according to the Motor Vehicle Administration.

“The completely redesigned cards feature cutting-edge security features to protect against identity theft and counterfeiting,” according to to a MVA news release.

“Maryland last updated the driver’s license in 2003 and the old technology is vulnerable to fraud. The new cards also proudly feature iconic Maryland symbols and a colorful Maryland-themed background.”

The new cards were unveiled today at a MVA branch office in Annapolis.

What good are they if they hand them out to illegals?

It means they have chips in them that can be tracked that is what it means by new and improved security... Everyone knows or should know by now RFID chip and chip in credit cards can be hacked easily...
