Skewed reporting. Sure are an awful lot of "n/a" too. Gotta keep the stats clean so the money for the machine doesn't stop flowing.
It's actually not as bad as I thought.....if the numbers are accurate.
Thats the thing...they arent accurate, and everyone knows it.
I believe these stats when hell freezes over. Those N/A's are pure cover-ups. They are trying to say there were no sexual crimes. These College educated "idiots" wants the Public to believe this BS. Who is covering this up? If Campus Police do not want to take responsibility and blame it on President "Do little", then they are assisting in the cover-up and aiding the perpetrators in committing crimes along with President "Do Little". I ask again who is so stupid to believe the stats on sex crimes concerning College Ladies are N/A, Not Applicable? They all should be fired ASAP.
Agreed, (9:42) there are a lot of "n/a" on the board. Another fine bit of paperwork from the very amateur campus police. Keeping the stats clean for the donors dollars.

I used to be one of SU's cops, we were told to try and talk the victim out of filing a full report. If they insisted, then we rewrote it and made it look better for the university. It is all about appearance and the money.
It looks to me as if most of their force is made up of ex-Fruitland cops.
The "Keystone Cops" used to be the same as Building Security. They cried and the Unions got them reclassified to sworn Police Officers. They do not enforce laws unless it benefits them in some way. A lot of them were in Towns and seen they could get called Police and not work. That is why they went to Campus Police, since they would not have dangerous working conditions and still act important.
The Parents of future Students ought to look at these crime stats and understand what they are reading and use common sense, CS. They should see right thru this BS, falsified reports.

It is obvious that you are in the dark on each sentence so I will start with one remark to quell all of your said knowledge.
Maryland Police Commission requires that law enforcement officers are trained and qualify to enforce Md laws. The "union" has nothing to do with requirements of a law enforcement officer or institution. It is not mandated for a LEO to belong to a "union".
Sorry that you didn't qualify to be one of Maryland's finest Keystones.
The only truth I see is your 1 sentence about the Maryland Police Commission. Yes I went through the Academy with flying colors and was certified. You Don't know what is the truth. I retired from the Criminal Justice System. Yes I was very active in the Unions when MCEA fought for 5 years to get the University Police reclassified using University of MD as and example after they won their reclass. I believe that was around 1985 give or take. So I am not in the dark.
Agree with 529... people are quick to talk down on law enforcement officers these days!

6:04 My last comment. When I was in changing facts of a report to make someone look good was falsifying a report. Also you did not try an coerce a witness or accuser to not pursue a criminal act. That is not disrespect. That was a "Bad COP". Because the straight facts is the only thing that went in an accurate report no matter who looked bad / good. That must not be taught in the Academies now. Sorry if anybody was offended with facts.

I am happy for you and delighted you made it through the CJA with honors.
Being so defensive makes me wonder if you were just disappointed you didn't make it at the top of the class as many SU officers did through the years.
That is a fact and the records show it.
Don't know if you tried out for the Keystones and got cut, just appears or reflects same in those statements.
