Coalition: Park Ranger Uniforms ‘Threatening’ Latinos - Have ‘Cultural Implications’

(CNSNews.com) - A coalition of legislators and civil rights groups say the National Park Service needs to focus on increasing inclusion on public lands, including possibly changing the “threatening” uniforms of Park Rangers.

“What we’re calling for is drastic, very scary change,” Maite Arce of the Hispanic Access Foundation said at a press conference Thursday.

“One example I can give you is with the Latino community, especially among the border states, but even nationwide, just the simple color of the uniforms that rangers wear.”

Why is there a whole industry devoted to pointing out how insulted some people are by virtually everything about the U.S.?

If they have not broken the law what is to fear? This is ridiculous and we need to stop kow-towing to everything which may offend someone or we will all be wearing nothing but white clothes, white cars, white houses, etc!

'Threatening'
Why? Because they are here illegally?
Perish the thought that we would make them uncomfortable.

We're starting to see other groups besides college students demanding safe spaces.

We'd better get a grip on this quickly or we will be knee-deep in tantrums.

It wouldn't be threatening if they had no reason to fear the border patrol. Just sayin...

There is a stark difference in the uniforms, one has a gun attached to it! Now it's up to the offended ones to figure which is which.

You wetbacks dont like the uniforms ,then go back to Mexico

The only reason they are offended is because they are here illegally and uniforms in general mean a trip home!

What do they mean "needs to focus on increasing inclusion" on public lands?

Needs to...why?

And it's not like anyone is waving signs at the entrance saying "whites only"...
