I feel a mental health defense coming on the part of possible defendants. Or no charges being filed because of obvious mental instability.

Just for reference for everyone there was a similar in size raid on a puppy mill in Maricopa Co AZ. Maricopa Co is Sheriff Joe Arpaio's territory and he is a well know animal lover. He even established a unit within the sheriff's dept that specializes in investigation animal related cases. It is a model for LE agencies nationwide. That raid was back in Nov of 2015 and just this past March were charges filed and arrest warrants obtained.
I just want the investigators and the SA to make a show out of this. Call a press conference as soon as the warrants are filed, have all the media gathered and make the defendants do the perp walk.

He was driving and functioning perfectly well at the time of the bust.If he was capable of coming and going he was capable of taking care of the dogs. The fact that this situation was previously reported and ignored may have consequences The population of the Eastern Shore has an affinity for dogs that is not reflected in the laws against their abuse and neglect.

No chance of that 3:40. They don't fit the profile of a hoarder if that's what you are saying.
A hoarder will not give away or sell one of their animals for any price. They believe no one can take as good care of the animal as they can.
They were doing this for money and that is all. They bred the dogs sold one or 2 puppies and discarded the unsold puppies to cages and other areas of confinement.
One person who purchased from them knew something was up when they brought the pup out to her instead of letting her go in the outbuilding. This proves the Murphy's knew what they were doing was wrong. Someone with a diminished mental capacity doesn't do this. They think everything is fine. They would have been proud to show people their pets.
She ended up buying 2 to get them out of there and immediately called authorities. That was sometime last year. She told the story on FB. She was very outspoken so I'm sure the investigators are already aware of her.

According to Mark Marciello, this is being handled very thoroughly, and not everything can be made public just yet. They are handling this like a child abuse case.
Every dog will be a separate charge, multiple charges for each dog, in addition multiple agencies will be involved, for example the IRS,'since they were selling the puppies. Rather doubt they reported that income.

Why are WBOC and WMDT giving completely different updates. One says no dogs hurt and one saying they had a death. One said dogs have been adopted and the other says adoptions are about to begin. Sh*t...they cant even agree on the weather. Sad. You have to come here to read the actual facts on things.
