When customers pick up their favorite Wawa hoagie, iced tea or coffee at more than 700 locations on the East Coast, they'll be able to browse the Internet on their devices without having to eat through their data plan.
Comcast Business is installing free Xfinity Wi-Fi at all Wawa stores in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida and Virginia.
The free guest Wi-Fi is effective Tuesday; guest Wi-Fi was previously not offered at Wawas.
Financials of the partnership were not disclosed.
The partnership is a way for Wawa to create a consistent in-store experience with its mobile app for ordering, purchasing, getting rewards, among other activities.

What ?? Man it's hard enough now to get in the parking lot now all the free loaders will be camped out using free wifi
Why do we need wifi in a convent store, so people can loiter in line a little longer to get free data?
Now the thugs will hang out 24/7 on there GOLFCARTS in crisfield,
Smart.
This was done for the homeless right?
Buy stock in Royal Farm Stores! The first three posters are correct. This will just bring out the thugs and freeloaders with their obamaphones to get something else for nothing. Their stores will be trashed and their customers will be harassed. The paying customers will avoid them and the lowlifes will flock there for more freebies. Whoever made this decision obviously lives in the same bubble that the politicians live in. They have no concept of the real world.
Does WAWA have seating?
Sheetz has always had it and they blow Royal Farms and WaWa away. To bad they will not come to the shore.
Great idea. And I'm sure Royal Farms will follow soon.
people can't be without the internet long enough to get a freakin' cup of coffee now ? we're doomed as a society. it's over.
Royal Farms is famous for slow pay or no pay. Just ask the local guys who clear the snow for them.
Homeless will be getting their jollies in the bathrooms with porn from free internet.
3:52 You hit the nail on the head. Very dumb idea. I look for hotels that have WiFi, but I don't care in a gas station or restaurant. Anyone drawn into Wawa by free WiFi has nowhere better to be.
