Review Clinton’s Emails May Wait Until After Election

The State Department may wait until after the November election to finish its review of classified information former Secretary Hillary Clinton sent on her secret email account, a spokesman said Tuesday, vowing they will not be held to the political calendar.

“We’re not going to rush judgment of any of these things,” spokesman John Kirby told reporters.

Mrs. Clinton, who rejected use of an account tied to the official state.gov secure email system and instead relied on an account tied to a server she kept at her New York home, returned more than 30,000 messages to the department in December 2014, or nearly two years after she left office.

The department has pored over those emails and as of Monday had released almost all of them, with more than 2,000 having portions redacted because they contain information now deemed “confidential” or “secret.” Another 22 messages deemed “top secret” have been withheld entirely.

None of the information was marked classified at the time, and Mrs. Clinton says she didn’t handle any improper information on her account. But her successor, Secretary of State John Kerry, asked for a review to determine how now-classified information ended up in her messages.

The State Department may wait until after the election to finish their "review", but the FBI investigation on the criminal matter may not.

I know nothing about the legality of all this mess, but the legal minds I've seen this week seem to agree that if the FBI is granting immunity to a small fish, then there's a bigger fish that's about to be caught. My understanding of granting immunity, is that the FBI already knows the crime, they just want additional evidence to connect the dots to the big fish.

With this being such a high profile person (i.e. Clinton), the FBI is double crossing the "T's" and "I's" before publicly announcing anything.

Let this go to show you that the system is indeed rigged and that the current POTUS has absolutely no intention of allowing anything legal actions to be brought upon Hillary.

Should she win the election just how in the world would this be handled?

And whether she wins the presidency, or not, Obama will pardon her for any crimes committed while she was in office, whether she has been indicted, or convicted, or not. This will happen on the last day of his presidency. It is the way the democrats work. They always look out for their fellow criminals.

Now the Republicans, on the other hand, will always eat their own....

Word on the political beat is a plea deal is possibly being prepared for Clinton that's terms will be sealed due to NS. It's a sad commentary of the judicial lack of accountability but also more damning as people continue to vote for her in spite of the very publicized criminal investigation. Just saying.

Two sets of laws.
And you cheer like its Christmas!
Do any of you think the government would "wait" or delay" charges or investigation because we had something important on the horizon??
The serfs go to prison, SHE runs for president.
And they sure as heck wouldn't "seal" the "terms" of OUR plea arrangement.
Keep cheering. You amuse them so much with it.
