From The Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department

***Move Over and Yield to Emergency Vehicles!!***

At 0900 hours today Bishopville was alerted for a MVC involving Maryland State Police. Upon arrival personal found a MSP car which was hit from behind while assisting with an escort of a double wide home south on 113 from Delaware.

Please be mindful of the Maryland Move Over Law and move over for personal working along the side of our highways, as the accident could have led to more severe injuries of the trooper or others. Fortuntaly for the trooper who was not in his car at the time he was not injured in the accident.

Sad to see the crown victorias going away. One of the best police cars ever. The new stuff looks tinny as crap to me and the tahoes are a joke.
I hope the MSP officer is ok looks like a heck of a rear end collision.

Funny, the story doesn't mention,"with lights fully activated" like they usually do.

Just parked in the ROW unlit?
