Fidel Castro rebuked President Obama in a lengthy diatribe Monday just days after his historic visit to Cuba.
The former Cuban revolutionary leader published a letter in state-controlled media titled “Brother Obama,” in which he recalled the U.S.’ past efforts to overthrow his government.
“We do not need the empire to give us anything,” Castro wrote.
Make no mistake- the United States could conquer Cuba and liberate its people with very little effort. It's one thing that we let this communist backwater prison nation exist 90 miles off our shores. It's an entirely different thing when an American president who is supposed to serve as the advocate for human liberty around the globe goes there, kisses the ring, and then gets his finger bit off by a tin pot coward like Castro. Obama's tour has been a weeklong repudiation of the Monroe Doctrine. We can't wait to see him go.

Obama thinks of himself as a revolutionary and wishes that he could have the longstanding legacy of what Castro did as a revolutionary (good or bad, but that's not the issue, nor is communism.) What Obama realizes is that he's not even in the same league as Castro, and that he will never be.
Our revolution needs to swing the other way, toward strengthening what we have instead of tearing it down and replacing it. Just fixing the broken bits will work without throwing it away.
It makes sense for Castro to call Barack - Brother Obama. They are Communist Brothers. Unfortunatelly, there are a lot of Americans with Blinders,On.

I continue to believe Obama went there to try and cut a deal to buy the Castro brothers' dictator franchise as a post DC hangout for himself. Fidel's essay must mean they haven't yet finalized the deal.
Doing the tango in Argentina was just the equivalent of letting the news slip you're looking at another house while trying to deal on the one you really want.
I'm ready to puke in Obama's face.
