Minimum Wage Explained

I have a question. If someone in the military makes under 15 dollars and hour but lives in a state where 15 dollars is the minimum which pay do they get. What also happens if they change bases and that state doesn't pay 15 dollars an hour.
FYI - most employers in our area won't hire you until you're 18. That burger-flipping job is often what's available to the recent high school grads who WANT to work and try to support themselves, often while taking college classes as well.
Also those who join the military have housing, food and healthcare costs covered. I thank them for their service, but your comparison is apples to oranges.
1:46 - you are one of the most ignorant people I have ever heard! We make ourselves available to defend the freedoms you have - you don't know how good you have it. It is LibTards like you that are helping to put this country in the state it has gone in to - by leeching off of the government and electing morons like the current POSPOTUS. You probably couldn't pass a physical to join the military - while still sitting your fat @$$ on your mother's couch.
Does anyone think of the results of the spending power that will greatly decrease with a higher minimum wage and bringing all the jobs back to US? This is not simple ways of increasing peoples way of living when their cost of the products will double. Look at the price of Automobiles when the assembly lines make between $60 and $80 an hour plus overtime.
1:47 here again Yes, SOME servicemen and women are on call 24/7 while deployed. They also earn nearly double what their normal base salary is, and all tax free, while in a combat zone. Good for them. Thanks for your service.
Military family here, and again I say the comparison is apples to oranges with the opportunities for a young person who WANTS to get out of his or her parent's home and does not join the military.

In my opinion the kids who are shaving their heads to defend an indefensible government from the victims of corporate theft are the stupid ones.
Stop joining the military. Force this government to stop killing people and making enemies of desert dwellers.

The person who encouraged young people to stop joining the military was criticizing the government. He was not criticizing the heroes.
It is the government that is corrupt. The soldiers need to require the government to take care of the disabled vets or else STOP killing the Muslims.
Either the gov. takes care of the vets or they stop killing Muslims.

Do you really believe you are "defending" my freedoms?
Really?
I think you are trying to make sense of your dumb decision.
Feel sorry for you.

I agree 100% with Anon 1:46 & 1:47
