A new survey has found that there is nowhere on the entire planet where the average wage earner is making enough money to live “the American Dream”
Are you living “the American Dream”? If so, you should consider yourself to be very fortunate, because most Americans are not.
In fact, as you will see below, a new survey has found that there is nowhere on the entire planet where the average wage earner is making enough money to live “the American Dream”. Once upon a time, the United States had the largest and most prosperous middle class in the history of the world, but now the middle class makes up a minority of the population, 51 percent of all American workers make less than $30,000 a year, and poverty is growing rapidly. The American Dream is essentially dead, and even the mainstream media is starting to figure this out.
Just today, someone sent me a U.S. News & World Report article entitled “Even Americans Can’t Afford the American Dream”. The following is an excerpt from that article…

And the government and Board of Education still want more money and more taxes from us! Wages are going down but the resources to pay for government entitlements are gone. No wonder more and more people are choosing to leave this state. We are now 7 out of the top ten states in high taxes. I had to borrow just to pay my property tax bill last December. I'm terrified what it will be this year. Haven't even owned a new car since 2003. I can definitely say my parents lived better than me. My father was a salesman. We only need one income to live the middle class dream. Now even with two incomes, we barely have enough left over after expenses to get by. Just hope and pray I stay healthy and employed at the low paying job that I consider lucky to have.
Why does it take so very long for the media to acknowledge what every working person in this country (and retired) already know?? That is the real question.
It's just not Maryland but throughout the U.S. because of 7 years of Obama and his ignorant thugs who have run this country and true Americans down.
Amen, we are taxed into oblivion, we make "too much",for assistance and not enough to pay basic bills, my family does not have cable or internet, just pay as you go cell phone, we no not go out to eat and live in a small old house, our cars are at least 12 years old (two incomes) now hubby is getting Obama care penalty because we cannot afford to add him to my insurance, they need to stop taxing us so bad and maybe we could survive
All the more reason to elect Trump.
It happened when this country turned against unions. Death of unions was the death of the middle lass.
Uh, 812, Unions have effectively killed off our economy, especially the government ones.
Its been dead for awhile now.
