Hillary's Emails Endangered CIA Operatives In The Field

As one who was responsible for handling classified material during my years at the Department of State I can tell you that this is a very big deal, and if Hillary is not indicted the government security system is torn to shreds. She must be held accountable! That said, politically Hillary may be our best candidate to run against and beat! So hope she is the nominee and an indictment comes in September!

Hillary Clinton's use of a private, non-secure email server housed in her Chappaqua basement resulted in the exposure of hundreds of classified documents to foreign hackers. Some of her emails contained highly classified information that endangered the lives of our spies.

According to the State Department Inspector General, 22 of Hillary's emails totaling 38 pages included materials marked "HCS-O," the most sensitive category reserved for information about clandestine CIA operatives in ongoing operations. These emails were so sensitive that they could not be released -- even with the entire message redacted.

According to John Schindler, an intelligence analyst writing for The Observer,, "these classified emails could jeopardize "sources, methods, and lives...and exposed the Holy Grail items of American espionage such as the true names of Central Intelligence Agency intelligence officers serving overseas under cover," Schindler added :"Worse, some of those exposed are serving under non-official cover."

Schindler has confirmed the content of the emails and labeled them as "colossally damaging to our national security [that[has put lives at risk," According to Schindler's sources, the names of foreigners on the CIA payroll were also included, jeopardizing their cover -- and their lives -- if the material was hacked.

On her home-brewed server, the documents were unprotected and easily vulnerable to hackers. According to former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Hillary's emails were probably hacked by China, Russia, and Iran.

Hillary's response to this shocking disclosure by the Inspector General is vintage Clinton: there's no problem because she "never sent or received any emails marked "classified." To her, that's the end of the discussion. All the attention to her emails and her private server by the FBI and by U.S. intelligence agencies is either unnecessary bureaucratic in-fighting or the right wing conspiracy trying to derail her candidacy. Nothing is her fault.

But it is her fault. She set up the secret server and she was careless in the handling of the most sensitive material. She put her "convenience" over the safety of our CIA agents. And, according to the Intelligence Community Inspector General, at least 2 emails were marked "Top Secret" when sent.

As for the purportedly "unmarked" classified information, it is absolutely NOT TRUE that classified material has to be marked - and Hillary knows it. It is irrelevant whether it was marked or not and State Department employees are taught that as soon as they begin to work. In fact, on the first day she took office as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton signed a mandatory "Classified Information Non-Disclosure Agreement" and swore to keep all classified materials confidential. That Agreement did not apply to only those document that were marked "Classified" or "Top Secret."

The Agreement" defined what the term "classified" actually meant:

"As used in this Agreement, classified information is marked or UNMARKED" (To see a copy of the Agreement, Go Here!)

Hillary Clinton is playing her own version of "it depends on what the meaning of is is." That was Bill Clinton's cutesy response to the Grand Jury when asked about whether there "is" a relationship with Monica Lewinsky.

Since the FBI began investigating her email server, Hillary has repeatedly defended herself by insisting that she neither sent nor received any material marked Classified.

Again, that doesn't matter. Classified material is based on the content, not any marking.

Before the FBI investigation started, Hillary said something slightly different. On March 10, 2015, when her email practices were first disclosed, she stated that:

I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.

It wasn't until several months later, on September 25, 2015 that she changed her story, no doubt after discussion with her lawyer (he's the one who helped Bill Clinton come up with the "is" defense).

After that she added that she had no classified material marked "Classified" at the time.

Now, Hillary says: "I did not send or receive any information marked classified."

That's a big difference, but one with no distinction and no merit.

Clinton seems to think that's not her concern that highly sensitive material was left on her server - and taken from the State Department. When asked by George Stephanopoulos about the Agreement she signed with the clear definition of "Classified" as including non-marked material, she ducked the question and came up with another Hillary Whopper, claiming that all "classified" material had to be marked:

"When you receive information, of course, there has to be some markings, some indication that someone down the chain had thought that this was classified and that was not the case."

Not true, Hillary.

Is she suggesting that she -- or her top deputies -- did not recognize classified information? Because she had an obligation to recognize and protect those documents.

And we know that Hillary found ways to deliberately circumvent the protections on classified materials. When top aide Jake Sullivan told her that he couldn't fax a classified memo she was waiting for, she quickly showed her adeptness at sending classified information. Sullivan told her: "they say they've had issues sending secure fax. They're working on it." Hillary effortlessly directed him: "If they can't, turn into non-paper with no identifying heading and send non-secure."

In other words, take off the classified markings and send it anyway.

Hillary didn't protect classified information when it was inconvenient for her. Now she's caught. And now she's working overtime trying to spin it.

It won't work Hillary. You've betrayed your oath and betrayed the people who have been exposed

What is the only crime defined in the Constitution?

Treason is the only crime specifically defined in the Constitution. According to Article III, Section 3, a person is guilty of treason if he or she goes to war against the United States or gives “aid or comfort” to an enemy.
