Are the best days of the U.S. economy over?

They have been since the great recession started in 2008. The wages and benefits most Americans used to enjoy are over. Life is good though if you are and administrator or school teacher with the Board Of Education!!!! Or a high paid Federal or State employee with tenure! Socialism at its finest!
Only a few benefited before the 2008 great depression in very few sectors of the economy but no one went to jail and special interest is the blame.Nationwide highways projects are needed but too much government grants going to a handful of tech sectors.

They have been over since Clinton left office.
