Lawsuit Over Safety Nets At Major League Baseball Parks Details Dozens Of Fan Injuries Since July
A little more than three months ago, a class-action lawsuit filed against Major League Baseball called for the installation of safety nets that would extend all the way to both of the foul poles. The lead plaintiff in that complaint had not actually been struck by any errant balls or bats, but a newly amended complaint includes details on numerous recent fan injuries and near-misses, including 90 that have occurred since this lawsuit was first filed.

wait a minute. you go to a game knowing the potential for a foul ball. so now you sue because you get hit. So don't go to the game. do we need to sign a waiver before we go into a game.
Time to pass a law and make them use a Wiffle ball, they are much safer. Hillary will do it, she is stupid enough.
batted baseballs are far more dangerous that guns, everyone knows that.
MORE BS from those people who think a few more rules in place and everyone will suddenly become smarter and no get injured or have their feelings hurt.
Stay at home. Your fat butt can't sit in a regular seat any more anyway and you probably block my view (not to mention your incessant chatter on the cell phone - why did you even GO to a ball game???).
A republican doesn't want to take a foul ball to the face so he watches the game and pays attention.
A democrat doesn't want to take a foul ball to the face and he demands the place put up a "protective net". "For our own good".
And "for the children". Sound familiar? It's the sound track for every half-aced idea they can come up with to make the world a rosy, non-threatening, safe place. With rainbows and soft fluffy clouds.
What a bunch of pansies. I pity these people who must wait for the world to make it safe for them to live in before they dare to venture outside. Pathetic.
some womman from Oakland was the first person I read about going Activist on the Oakland Colosseum ...she was all scatterbrain and may have been hit several times by something someplace
